Yesterday Edward M. Railton, aged 26, obtained a license to marry Mary C. Shakespear, aged 24. Both are residents of this city. Charles Reed, aged 22, residing in San Francisco, also procured a permit to wed Katie Peterson, a damsel of 19 summers. She is an Oakland girl Both the latter are natives of New York.
